In 2015, two brilliant entrepreneurs, Andrea Sreshta and Anna Stork, amazed the world by pitching LuminAID on Shark Tank. The CBS program gives hopeful entrepreneurs the opportunity to seek funds from investors. All five of the investors, or “sharks,” were truly impressed by LuminAID, an inflatable solar-powered LED lantern that is ideally suited for emergency situations. Ultimately, Mark Cuban invested $200,000 for 15 percent equity in LuminAID. The product has the potential to change the world in significant ways.
