The Energy Efficiency and Building Performance (EE/BP) Policy Manager (PM) is CSE’s policy subject matter expert and lead for engagement with regulatory agencies, including compliance filings, advice letters, and participation in proceedings relevant to EE/BP. The EE/BP PM will report to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, providing analysis and communication on regulatory and policy issues related to EE/BP for distribution to the Director of Policy and all relevant CSE programs. In collaboration with the Policy Team, s/he will facilitate CSE’s regulatory- and policy-related activities in pursuit of the organization’s mission.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of energy efficiency programs and technologies and be familiar with Title 24, Part 6, California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standards, including requirements for new construction and existing building retrofits. In addition, the candidate should have experience working directly with utilities, building owners/managers, and local governments.

The Director of Development and Corporate Marketing is responsible for developing CSE’s pipeline of new business across the U.S. through government contracts, strategic partnerships, regional market development, grants, consulting, fee for service and sponsorship revenue development as well as overseeing the organization’s branding, digital media assets, PR and corporate communications.
The Director oversees a team of 12 with 3 managers who are direct reports. This position is a member of the Executive team and participates in weekly organizational development and on-going strategy meetings and is responsible for providing quarterly updates to the Board of Directors.
