Graphic Designer at EVgo (Los Angeles, CA)

EVgo is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team during an incredibly exciting period of transition and growth. This person will be responsible for assisting in the production and development of both digital and print creative assets.

Position Description
This position will support marketing and business development on a variety of projects that involving branding, customer engagement, website design, collateral materials, social media, web banners, email blasts, infographics, photography and PowerPoint presentations.​
​

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and create marketing materials for web including banners, email blasts, landing page design and videos
  • Create custom web page graphics and text content.
  • Design marketing materials for print and POP for customers and OEMs
  • Use analytical tools to create and analyze user behaviors and to improve web design
  • Create strong visual solutions and maps for research based information, such infographics, charts and tables, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience with email campaign development – Hubspot and or Mail Chimp experience a plus
  • Edit images, alter photograph content, and make color corrections and enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of new web technology; make recommendations for improvements in web architecture, design, layout and functionality.
  • Implement web design changes as approved. Troubleshoot web related problems and issues.
  • Lead an effort to build a library of photography of our Fast Charging stations
  • Maintain and update the art department asset filing system.
  • Design and publish emails and newsletters
  • Trade and promotional material creation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on creation of content, online experience and promotional materials.
  • Understand business implications of decisions. Align work with corporate strategic goals and have the ability to easily manage competing demands in order to successfully meet deadlines.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of graphic design and production artist experience
  • Experience with HTML5 and Wordpress
  • Full knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • A balance between print and digital experience and knowledge
  • Strong retouching skills
  • Keen eye for detail and precision
  • Ability to execute style guide and maintain brand guidelines
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Ability to shoot professional photography a must

  • A self-starter and a team player
  • Work collaboratively at a fast pace with a wide range of peers and managers on creation of content and presentations
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Must consistently demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word
  • Familiarity of the business or EVs or sustainability is a plus
