This temporary position will provide strategic outreach and marketing management for various programs at the Center for Sustainable Energy. Not to be mistaken with social media, the Senior Manager, Social Marketing will advise senior leadership in the clean transportation, renewable energy, and energy efficiency and distributed generation teams on program marketing, education and outreach strategies that seek to develop marketing concepts to influence behaviors that benefit individuals and communities for the greater good related to clean energy. The Senior Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and, at times, directly manage teams responsible for the execution of program education and awareness scope of work items. The right candidate will bring deep marketing and outreach experience for large-scale consumer and stakeholder education and awareness programs.
Sample projects include the development of a statewide public education and outreach plans for the statewide marketing education and outreach financing pilot, foundation funding initiatives and California Clean Vehicle Rebate Project working closely with project staff.
